Sam said car today, a bunch, in a strangely girly voice, and it sounded a little bit like "kuh yar"
he can now say:

neh (nose)
ay (eyes)
Nana
ap pa
ight der
out der
Car
poopay
bewbay
moon
ah dun!
mama
papa

and he can point to pictures of ducks, apples and bananas, eyes, mouth and nose

ETA 2/26

meh for more
book
ah choo (once, when copying Bas)

ETA 3/1

"ah ah Doo!" now used to joke around, so cute!
LOVES picture books all of a sudden. He can say "boo!" for book and drags them around the house even the big heavy ones and then pushes them at you until you read to him. He can point to shoes, socks, ball, apple, duck, banana, flowers and many other pictures. He can follows commands now to take something to somebody (like "take the book to your brother") or to go fetch an object from another room, so of course we think he is a genius! He gets so much less pressure to perform than his big brother ever got!

When I say Ivy doesn't say anything, I just mean to refer to nursing. She says lots of things, of course. :-)

oh and he only says bewbay when he comes off from nursing, and he has this ridiculously happy milky grin and points to the nipple and says "bew BAY" -- he used to say "ba ba" at that juncture but now he has responded to my correcting it to boobay... it is interesting how often he makes vowel sound errors actually.
